I have been dealing with Wedding Photography for ten years and I think it’s time to write this article …and it’s a bit like writing a page from diary. I’m in the middle of my 2022 Wedding season, back from consecutive weddings, a little tired but happy. Write relaxes me and I am in my office to create the last article of my website before a great restyling. At the same time I edite some photos taken during an evening wedding at Tenuta Re Manfredi in Venosa, in Lucania thinking… But how wonderful!, “ma che meravigghia!”
How important is every kind of choice for the organization of your event?
All aspects are fundamental, but a priority one for the wedding organization is the choice of the location. I am not a Wedding Planner but as a Professional Photographer specialized in Weddings, I can say without a doubt that this choice is connected to the entire functioning and success of the event. The culinary aspect, the service, the hospitality, but let’s focus on the photographic one.
I have a deep love for beautiful “tenute”, I love the style of the “masserie” and outdoor weddings.
And I don’t prefer the “tenute” because Instagram is now full of these locations, but because with Photography you can work better. It is possible to create a real clean, simple and linear story within the same frame and above all with a homogeneous light that is “the same” from morning to evening and in Photography, light is everything! I love details and most of the classic reception rooms don’t care about them. I would like to clarify that I work very well in many reception rooms that take great care of the event and of the details. I exclude from my work all those that, in my opinion, do not take care of this aspect. From a photographic point of view, I believe that the detail embellishes the event. It is that icing on the cake that also highlights the professionalism of the photographer himself.
The photography is detail
A photographer who pays attention to details is a sensitive person who has a delicate approach to the event and the image. Photography is detail. The detail of a smile, of a look. The event becomes magical precisely with the care for it. So there! If all couples made thoughtful choices for the organization of their wedding, everything would be more beautiful!
